A Christmas disaster...

What we all dread happened to me on Christmas day - DELETING ALL MY PHOTOS on my camera before loading them onto my computer...........GRRRRRRRRRRRR, so not happy Jan!!!!

I had taken 487 photos of Christmas eve, Christmas morning with the kids opening their presents, the magnificent Christmas table setting at my sisters house (absolutely stunning), all the cousins opening their presents together and the final ones of little baby Isabella's 1st Christmas with her opening or rather pulling at her presents - a mothers once in a lifetime experience, they only have one 1st Christmas!!!!.........................ALL GONE........... I stupidly managed to DELETE all of them.

However, due to having a completely empty memory card - I was able to take allot of photos of the kids on the water slide.

Dan and Rod set up a 20m water slide on a little hill at their new house. It was truly the best fun the kids have had in a long time.......and the parents, watching their faces and listening to their screams of joy was so much fun.

I have uploaded a few photos of the slide, it's hard to see just how fast they were going - but trust me, it was fast, the speed they got up sent them off the end and along the grass too.

Sorry about the dark photos - haven't had a chance to lighten them a bit yet.

Pay particular attention to the kids faces - THEY ARE PRICELESS.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and managed to keep all their precious memories on camera without deleting them!!!

Have a safe New year....

What a week...

I am so glad that the week is almost over - I t has been sooooooo busy!!!! and too many late nights - I don't cope well with late nights at all. (Too Old)!

We had the kids end of year Dance concert last night - They are all so clever! I truely don't know how they remember all the different routines, so committed and full of energy. It was a great night, but very long and the butts got very numb.

Today, is going to be spent catching up on things and then tonight I am going to photograph our Christmas lights - cant wait to have a play with my new camera. I will post a few piccies when done!!

So untill then, here is a couple of projects - Thanks for looking.

Merry Christmas to all....

It's all over...

Last night was Tegans Yr 12 Formal - the end of an era for her. A celebration of all her hard work through her school life. She, and a group of her friends went to Wellington point for some photos before heading off to the city for their celebrations. All the girls looked absolutely stunning and so grown up. Here are a couple of photos.

Just to let you know...

If you love the idea of kits, pop on over to Sandra's blog for some pretty darn cute layout kits. She still has a few available and they are only $20 too!!!!

Happy Birthday Tegan...

Can't believe I am the mother of a 17 year old.....Scary stuff!!
She also went for her licence this morning........and got it!!! Woo hoo, now she can help out with some of the running around. Life should be a little easier now.......(wishful thinking). We have handed over the car (lluey) to her for her birthday and she has already made it hers with a total makeover of PINK, but I must say he looks so cute.....Its so Tegan!!!! Now I need to find another smallish car to run around in.

Back to work now so have a great Friday...

Check this out...

One of the ladies who regularly purchases my kits sent me her finished product. She is not a Beyond the Page person so she has adapted my stand alone frames into a layout. Well done Lisa....it looks great.

I love seeing the alterations that others come up with, so if any of you that have purchased my kits and altered them in any way please send them to me and I will add them here for others to see.
Until tomorrow.
Take care

A bit Slack...

Yes, I have been a bit slack lately with updating - had a fair bit on with school and work.

There is one person - yes you know who you are "C" that has been giving me a hard time for being slack so this is for you....LOL.

Firstly, here are the sneaks for Sats classes.

Some other fun stuff - Hilliard State School (my boys school) every year do a Spring Fever concert celebrating the students achievements. The Yr 7's alway put on a dance production and every year they are amazing and the kids have so much fun. This years is Aladdin and Jaydon plays the character Aladdin. Last night was their first performance and all I can say is "WOW" what a great job all the teachers and dance instructors have done with these kids. They all looked amazing. I will post some photos very soon (I actually have to take some first).

Ok, some more Scrapbooking stuff - here are a few other class layouts and Rusty Pickle projects that I done lately. Thanks for looking.

Another very exciting thing is also happening through Rusty Pickle.......I so can't wait for this one to happen!!!! Will keep you posted on the progress.
Anyway, I think that that is enough for this post, so until next time,
